Corewash is our go-to powerhouse for everyday laundry. We've used it to wash millions of pounds of laundry in NYC! Our formula is vegan, non-toxic, fragrance-free and biodegradable. It's safe for big and small humans alike, plus it’s safe for the planet.

Unlike laundry pods and strips that contain polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)—a water soluble plastic used for casing—Corewash contains absolutely no plastic. Peer-reviewed studies have shown that 75% of PVA does not readily biodegrade in US wastewater treatment plants, which means pods and strips release plastic into the environment. 

Our laundry powder is PVA-free and contains just three simple and effective ingredients. The cardboard and steel canister is recyclable and the labels are fully compostable.

Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate), Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate), Coconut-based Vegetable Soap (Sodium Cocoate, Glycerin, Organic Cocos Nucifera Oil, Water)

Instructions

  • Use the stainless steel spoon (included) to dose 1/2 Tbsp directly into the drum of a high-efficiency (HE) washer.
  • Double the dosage (one level spoonful) for standard washers or extra dirty loads.
  • Use Corewash to machine wash towels, bedding and everyday clothing (non-delicate).

Pro Tips

If you're putting Corewash in the detergent compartment instead of in the drum, check to see that none is left behind. If some is left behind because the washer is optimized for liquid, dissolve the powder in a bit of warm water before putting it in the machine.

You may use Corewash to wash delicate clothing. Dissolve the powder in warm water ahead of time, then hand wash with lukewarm water.

To tackle heavily soiled items, pre-treat with Wunderbar stain stick or Supersalt oxygen brightener before washing with Corewash.
