Caring for transitional staples
Weather-wise, it has been such an interesting month here! We often found ourselves peeling off layers throughout the day 🥵 and then putting them all back on the next day. 🤪
Since the temperatures are fluctuating, let's talk about transitional pieces—those light layering items that you can easily take off or put on to stay comfortable.
Here are some quick tips for your transitional pieces:
⚪ Sweatshirts
Caring for athleisure might seem like a no-brainer, but if you've invested in high quality cotton pieces because you love the feel and look, you might want to check out our care guide for sweatshirts (complete with gifs)!
This is especially the case if you wear your sweatshirts for more than just lounging and errands. If you're incorporating athleisure into your "going out" outfits, you'll want to keep them looking their best.
⚪ Cotton knit sweaters
Your cotton knit sweaters can 100% be washed in a washing machine. We recommend using a roomy delicates bag to prevent the loops from snagging on anything else in the load.
Select a hand wash setting, a wool wash setting or a delicate setting on your washing machine (these will be your gentlest cycles). Wash with a biodegradable detergent.
Lay your washed sweater on a fresh towel to roll it up in the towel while squeezing out excess water. Let your knit sweater lay flat to dry.

⚪ Hoodies
We recently shared a folding guide for hoodies on Instagram and the response has been so great! Apparently, this is the guide you've all been waiting for. 😉 Our folding method is easy to master and your hoodies will stack flat, which is super satisfying.
See how we fold hoodies here. Follow along and give it a go!
