Caring for Your Transitional Weather Wardrobe

Weather-wise, it has been such an interesting month here! We often found ourselves peeling off layers throughout the day 🥵 and then putting them all back the next day.

Since the temperatures are fluctuating, let's talk about transitional pieces—those light layering items that you can easily take off or put on to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Here are some quick care tips for your transitional pieces:

⚪ Wash sweatshirts with cold water

Caring for athleisure might seem like a no-brainer, but if you've invested in high quality cotton pieces because you love the look and feel, make sure you wash them with cold water and check out our care guide for sweatshirts (complete with gifs).

This is especially the case if you wear your sweatshirts for more than just lounging and errands. If you're incorporating athleisure into your "going out" outfits, you'll want to keep them looking their best.

⚪ Use a roomy mesh bag to protect knit sweaters

Your cotton knit sweaters can 100% be washed in a washing machine. We recommend using a roomy delicates bag to prevent the loops from snagging on anything else in the load.

Select a Hand Wash, Wool or Delicate cycle on your washing machine (these will be your gentlest options). Wash with a biodegradable detergent.

Lay your washed sweater on a fresh towel to roll it up in the towel while squeezing out excess water. Let your knit sweater lay flat to dry.

⚪ Fold hoodies so that they're stackable

We recently shared a folding guide for hoodies on Instagram and the response has been amazing! Apparently, this is the guide you've all been waiting for. 😉 Our folding method is easy to master and your hoodies will stack flat, which is super satisfying.

See how we fold hoodies on reels. Follow along and give it a go!

If you'd like to see more folding guides from us, leave a comment in the reel and let us know what we should fold next.
